The first Survivor Series match was announced tonight on WWE Raw. Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Shayna Baszler will face off in A Triple Threat match featuring the Women’s Champion from each brand.
It looks like instead of getting brand vs. brand this year, we are going to get brand vs. brand vs. brand. In years past, each champion from Raw and Smackdown have faced off against each other.

However, this year we may be getting NXT vs. Raw vs. Smackdown. With Smackdown moving to FOX and Raw being on USA, it would be hard for Vince McMahon to completely shut out one of the major brands.
It’s possible NXT is being tossed into the mix to take the loss. With NXT being in the actual battle with AEW, that probably isn’t a smart move.
However, Vince and his team haven’t always made smart moves. The good news is this allows for some very fresh matchups.

Shayna Baszler interrupted a sit-down interview between Charly Caruso and Becky Lynch. The two went back and forth about how they were going to keep an eye on Bayley but wanted to make sure the other knew they were watching them too.
The confrontation was some of the better work from Becky Lynch in quite some time. It’s nice to see her facing a fresh opponent who comes across as someone WWE would push as a legitimate threat to her.
