The first match for the upcoming AEW All In Texas pay-per-view at Globe Life Field on July 12 has been confirmed.
Tonight’s May 25 Double Or Nothing pay-per-view featured matches with All In implications, including the finals of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments.
The pay-per-view opened up with the women’s tournament final between Jamie Hayter and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone.
In addition to being crowned this year’s Owen Cup winner, the match came with the added stipulation of the winner challenging for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In Texas.
It was Mone who scored the win, meaning she the current TBS Champion will challenge for the Women’s World Title at All In.
Tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing also featured Toni Storm defending said Women’s World Title against Mina Shirakawa, meaning whoever won that match would be officially set to defend against Mone at All In.
It was Storm who picked up the win to retain her title, meaning it’s officially Storm vs Mone at All In Texas.
In theory, Storm may put her title on the line and lose it before then, but that seems unlikely, and as things stand right now, it’s Storm vs Mone.
