The first finalist in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) G1 Climax 31 tournament is now known after the A-Block has come to a close.
For the fourth straight year, Kota Ibushi has made the tournament final. Ibushi beat KENTA in the match to determine which of them would make the final.
Not only has Ibushi been in the final for the last three years, but he’s won the last two iterations of the tournament.
This time around, he’ll be up against either Kazuchika Okada or Jeff Cobb.
The final night of the B-Block will be on October 20, and the overall final on October 21.
