First Pro-Wrestler Coronavirus Death Confirmed

Unfortunately it was inevitable, but it is being reported that a pro-wrestler has now died after being infected by the Coronavirus.

Mexican Luchador Black Demon has passed away aged just 39, and while he may not be the biggest name in wrestling, it’s still incredibly sad news for the whole wrestling community.

Super Luchas reports that Black Demon, real name Roberto Munoz Carrillo died on April 13 due to complications caused by Coronavirus. Authorities are yet to confirm the death, but his family has done so.

It’s very worrying news, and yet further evidence if it was needed that the dangers of the virus are very real, and will effect the world of pro-wrestling, even if there are some people who aren’t taking it seriously.

WrestleTalk sends its condolences to the friends and family of Black Demon at this sad time.
