On the February 21, 2020 edition of SmackDown, the first two entrants in the Men’s and Women’s SmackDown Elimination Chamber matches were officially announced.
During the backstage interview segment, Lacey Evans announced herself for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. She said after losing to Bayley at Royal Rumble she knows she has gone to the back of the line.

However, she said she plans to win the chamber and earn her way back into a match with Bayley at WrestleMania. No other women have been officially announced. SmackDown’s roster of women isn’t that large. You’d have to think some combination of Naomi, Carmella, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, or Sasha Banks would be the other candidates.
Meanwhile, Sheamus has officially entered into the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. He cut a pre-taped promo talking about aiming for bigger targets and rats. He called the EC the largest rat cage there is.

Sheamus will be entering the match. It was originally rumored the Chamber would be Roman Reigns, Robert Roode, Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura, Daniel Bryan and Baron Corbin. Later, it was reported that were names just thrown out there so the venue would have something to advertise.
It would make a lot of sense for Robert Roode not to be in the match. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk for more information.
