First WWE Evolution 2025 Match Official

The first match set to take place at the upcoming WWE Evolution 2025 premium live event has now been made official.

With the second all-women’s WWE premium live event just around the corner, it was recently announced that the NXT Women’s Championship would be defended on the show.

Jacy Jayne defeated Stephanie Vaquer in an upset to become the NXT Women’s Champion last month, with NXT General Manager Ava then announcing that she would be defending the title at Evolution.

Jacy’s opponent for the show was to be determined in an Eliminator Tournament, with four singles matches leading to a four-way, with the winner of the four-way facing Jacy in Atlanta for the title.

On last week’s show, Jaida Parker defeated Thea Hail, Lash Legend defeated Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame defeated Zaria and Jordynne Grace defeated Lola Vice, with the four winners meeting in a four-way on tonight’s NXT show.

It was Jordynne Grace who picked up the victory in the match, with her now going on to challenge Jacy for the title at WWE Evolution on Sunday, July 13.
