As WWE Raw comes live from Chicago, Illinois ahead of the WWE Draft in just a few days, a very interesting person has been spotted backstage.

CM Punk was backstage at today’s Raw taping in Chicago, Illinois.

The former AEW World Champion is reportedly heading back to AEW for the launch of a Saturday evening show very soon however seems to have taken a detour back to his old stomping grounds.

There have been reports that Punk met with several WWE talents, including reportedly a brief interaction with Triple H.

He also “cleared the air” with The Miz according to PWInsider.

He was eventually asked to exit the arena.

One WWE source noted that he was asked to leave due to being under contract with another company.

The report also notes that it was a Vince McMahon call that he leave the venue. When he was asked to exit, Punk immediately said his goodbyes and left the building.
