Former Divas Champion Victoria Crawford (Alicia Fox) has now shared a forbidden door tease, following her WWE departure.
After recently fuelling speculation that she had left WWE with a change to her social media bios, Crawford confirmed at the beginning of the month that she’s ‘FKA Alicia’.
This would mark the end of Crawford’s 17 years with WWE, however the former champion hasn’t wrestled since competing in the 2022 Royal Rumble bout.
With Crawford’s in-ring future in question, the ex-WWE star has now shared some ‘forbidden door’ teases to social media.
On her Instagram story, Crawford shared a photo of herself and a door emoji, with the caption:
#forbidendoor KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
She shared more photos on Twitter with the caption:
17 years in BOOTs (5.5.06) 🚪#forbiddendoor UNLOCKED DOOR.
But I’m bringing hell to the windows…. DONE WITH THE veils and drapes 🥊 #brickbybrick v. #crow
‘Forbidden door’ was a term first coined by Hiroshi Tanahashi during his feud with AEW’s Chris Jericho ahead of Wrestle Kingdom 14, with the NJPW star stating that he would open the forbidden door and visit AEW if he defeated Jericho, which he ultimately didn’t.
The term has since been used as the name of a series of AEW x NJPW crossover events, with the first taking place in 2022, and the second slated for this June.
While Crawford’s posts have been cryptic, the former WWE star has indicated that her next move will be revealed in good time.
