AEW
A former AEW name who departed the company a few months ago has voiced criticism over Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin at WrestleDream.
The Moxley vs Allin “I Quit” match main evented last night’s show, and one specific moment in the match saw Moxley hold Allin’s head underwater in a fish tank to try to get him to quit.
Responding to a clip of the match from the official AEW social media page, Sarah Stock, who used to be a coach in AEW, tweeted:
You know who should stop this? Mothers. With their remote control.
This is worse than the plastic bag over the head.
Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home. @aew
News broke in May that Stock had departed AEW, although no real details have emerged regarding the reason for her exit.
She had joined AEW in March 2023 after previously working for WWE from 2015 to 2020.
It was Allin who scored the win in the match against Moxley last night following a return from Sting to help Allin fight the numbers game of Moxley’s Death Riders.
