Former AEW Name Comments On Exit From The Company AEW

Following his contract expiration, former AEW and WWE star Mark Henry has commented on his exit from All Elite Wrestling.

In May 2024, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry finished up his run with All Elite Wrestling after signing with the promotion in 2021.

Since then, Henry stated that he will not be leaving professional wrestling and subsequently appeared at MLW Battle Riot VI. Many fans have been wondering what the next move will be for “The World’s Strongest Man.”

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Mark Henry commented on his AEW departure and his future. He said:

“Keep your ears to the street. I’m working on something big right now, and it’s really the main reason why I need to be on my own,”

On his love of being able to give back to the business and helping build the legacies of new stars, Henry said:

“I love the fact I can give back. That’s what I’m trying to do. I want to give back and help build new legacies, like Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, Jade Cargill, Samantha Irvin, and Bianca Belair.”

“Helping mentor people, I enjoy that more than anything else I do. I want to be remembered for more than what I did physically,”

Sharing some details on his new project he is working on, Henry said:

“I believe in what I’m doing and I’m putting all my heart into it. I couldn’t do that being an employee. I need to be my own boss,”

WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Mark Henry’s future if and when they become available.
