Former AEW Star Signs With WWE

Two months on from his AEW exit, former TNT Champion Miro has reportedly signed with WWE.

After being absent from AEW programming for the entirety of 2024, it was confirmed in early February that Miro had been granted his release from the company.

With speculation rampant regarding his future ever since, PWInsider is reporting that the former Rusev has now signed with WWE, five years on from his departure in 2020.

According to the report Miro has been visiting WWE HQ in Stamford, CT all day today (April 2) to “set the stage” for his return, being spotted by multiple sources.

PWInsider confirmed that Miro’s wife CJ Perry was not present with him at WWE HQ, with no word on whether the company will be bringing her back as well.

There was also no specific details given as to when we can expect to see Miro make his return to WWE TV now that he’s back under contract.
