Former AEW Star Signs With WWE, Details Revealed WWE/AEW

A former AEW star has signed with WWE and more details have been revealed about the new signing shortly after his surprise debut.

On tonight’s edition of WWE NXT, recently departed AEW star ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page was revealed to be a mystery attacker who has recently taken out Noam Dar, and tonight, Oro Mensah.

He went on to beat down Trick Williams and then hold up the NXT Championship, making his intention in NXT very clear.

Now more details have been revealed as according to a new report from PWInsider, Ethan Page has officially signed with WWE.

While his arrival was kept a closely guarded secret, Page did go to the WWE Performance Center last week “under the cover of extreme darkness” according to the report.

He’s said to have officially signed with the company “over the last few days”.

Ethan Page was in AEW from February 2021 to May 2024 with his last match on AEW television occurring in December 2023 against Kenny Omega.

Vic Joseph on commentary actually said “wasn’t he in AE…” before Booker T cut him off, implying he was about to mention AEW.

It was the second major surprise on NXT tonight after TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appeared, and will challenge Roxanne Perez at Battleground.
