Following the September 16 Raw, former AEW star and current NXT Champion Ethan Page has responded to a WWE fan sign.
During the September 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, the camera went around the crowd to highlight several fan signs with a female fan holding one that read “I Quit My Job To Be Here.”
The sign scored over 330,000 impressions on Twitter/X after being posted by the USA Network account.
On Tuesday, September 17, NXT Champion Ethan Page took to social media to fire off a joke, stating how he relates to this fan. He wrote in response:
Me too lady.
This is a reference to the fact that “All Ego” left AEW to join WWE in May.
Ethan Page is set to defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams on the October 1 CW Launch episode of WWE NXT.
