Following the November 6 episode of Dynamite, former ECW Champion Taz has shared an update on his AEW injury recovery.
On the November 6 edition of AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage explained his attack on Taz to HOOK where he stated that he wanted the former FTW Champion in the Patriarchy.
To make that happen, Cage explained that he had to get rid of HOOK’s real-life father Taz due to him being a bad influence on the second-generation star.
According to Cage this was due to Taz’s failure to successfully transition from his success in ECW to the bright lights of WWE, ridiculing Taz for retiring from in-ring competition to become an announcer.
Taz has been absent from AEW television since suffering an attack at the hands of Christian in October. In reality, the AEW commentator underwent knee replacement surgery.
After Dynamite went off the air, Taz took to Twitter to share a photo of his knee and share an update with the fans. He wrote:
I’m gettin there!
After Christian said he wished Taz was dead, HOOK went to attack Christian Cage and The Patriarchy, but was stopped by his security team before the young star beat them all down and stared at Cage.
