A former champion has admitted that they would return to WWE for a TV role within The Bloodline.
One of the most frequent commentators on all things Bloodline related on WWE TV in recent years has been former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion Rikishi.
Often speaking on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the Hall of Famer once again discussed his family on the show’s most recent episode, with Rikishi being asked whether he would consider returning to WWE in order to play the role of The Bloodline’s new “Wise Man”.
In response, Rikishi confirmed that he would be willing to take up the role, but not if he was just “thrown in”, instead imploring the WWE fans to make their voices heard if they want to see him back on WWE TV.
Rikishi said:
“Without a doubt. Without a doubt. Like I said, you know, anything I can do to be able to be there to support, you know, the family, you know, and it’s got to be right. You know what I mean?. I just don’t want to be that person just thrown in, right?
“But we, you know, definitely got to be hands-on. How you gonna bring me in? And you know that part right there. But, yeah, man, I do it for the fans. Yes, at the fans, you know? I mean, they want me to [come] back. Hey, I need to hear it. I need to see it. I need to see it. I need to feel it. You know, I need to see your signs up there on Monday Night Raw. I need to see your sign-off, SmackDown. Bring back Rikishi. That’s what. I need to see it.
“And then once that, you know, things like that, start to happen, I can see the fans. Because when the WWE Universe speaks, the fan speaks man, it happens real quick.
“And so, yeah, I’m down to be able to, you know, be part of the original bloodline crew. And, you know, be that wise man, or, you know, whatever the part that, you know, the tribal chief wants me to be through, you know, standing down, you know, stand on business. Hey, I’m there. Man.”
The Bloodline’s original “Wise Man” Paul Heyman turned his back on Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 to align with Seth Rollins, with Heyman now serving as “The Oracle” to Rollins.
