WWE has taken to Twitter reveal that former Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss has been pulled from the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match at Sunday’s pay-per-view with an injury.
This makes her the second top star to be removed from a bout at the event, with her former Mixed Match Challenge tag team partner Braun Strowman being replaced by Sami Zayn on Monday’s Raw.

WWE released the following statement on their website, and there is no mention of what injury Bliss has suffered, or how long she will be out for:
Alexa Bliss is not medically cleared to compete at WWE Money in the Bank this Sunday, and has been removed from the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. A suitable replacement for Alexa will be announced.
This is not good news for Bliss. The former NXT star has missed the better part of a year with various injuries, wrestling in just four matches since the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view in September, 2018. You have to feel that another serious injury could spell the end of the road for Alexa Bliss’ in-ring career.
With regards to her replacement, the most obvious candidate is Nikki Cross, with the Scotswoman replacing Bliss in a fatal-four way match on Raw and walking out as the victor. However, it could be possible that Sasha Banks returns, with it being reported last month that WWE were “hopeful” she would return at Money In The Bank after trying to quit the company over WrestleMania weekend.
