Former Champion Re-Signs With IMPACT Wrestling IMPACT Wrestling

A former champion has re-signed with IMPACT Wrestling.

Tasha Steelz signed with IMPACT Wrestling in 2020 and has experienced a great deal of success since then.

Steelz is a two-time IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Kiera Hogan as Fire N’ Flava. In 2022, she won the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship by defeating Mickie James.

In an interview with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, the former Knockouts World Champion revealed that she had re-signed with IMPACT Wrestling. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed as of yet.

Steelz said:

“I’m excited. Re-signing with Impact so Impact gets more flava and I’m glad to deliver it for the next few years.”

“Impact fans, I know they are very excited to hear the news. I’m excited, more flava.”

Reflecting on her journey with the company, Steelz stated:

“It’s been great because I’ve been so fortunate from the time I started and me walking in at the right time in 2020 when everyone was, at the time, losing their jobs and I was gaining a job.”

“It’s been nothing but sky-high for me. Walking in, immediately Fire N Flava was formed and everyone knew Fire N Flava.”

“Just eight months of us being formed we won the Knockouts Tag Team Championships and made history becoming the first Black females to win the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.”

Tasha Steelz continued on to reflect on Kiera Hogan leaving and how she transitioned into the singles division, saying:

“Less than six months after that, I became the first Afro-Latina Knockouts World Champion and not only that but beating and defeating a legend. It’s just been so great.”

On her decision to re-sign with IMPACT, Steelz said:

“If there’s anybody that gives you that opportunity to really be yourself and just go out there and be yourself and not have to change you, it’s definitely Impact, so, definitely have to stay here.”

Tasha Steelz dropped the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship to Jordynne Grace in the first ever Queen of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary in June.
