Former Champion Addresses Current Relationship With WWE WWE

Former NXT Tag Team Champion Tyler Breeze has commented on his current relationship with WWE.

Breeze hasn’t wrestled for WWE since June 2021, weeks before he was let go by the company.

The popular star has worked with the company since then, mostly with the UpUpDownDown brand. It was recently reported that Breeze is under a contract with WWE, specifically for this brand.

Breeze has also served in a guest coach role at the Performance Center previously.

Speaking with A2D Radio, Breeze confirmed that he doesn’t officially work at the WWE Performance Center, but helps out occasionally:

“Yeah, from time to time (I help out at the WWE Performance Center). I’ve done some guest coaching stuff there.

“For whatever reason, people… they’re convinced that I work at the P.C. but I do not. I just do guest coaching here and there.

“But yeah, I got a great relationship with WWE, with all the coaches, with everybody that I went through and like I said, connections are huge.”

Breeze recently returned to the ring after two years away, winning the NGW: TN Championship on July 8.

Commenting on the possibility of him wrestling for a major promotion again, Breeze noted:

“I think it’s possible (that I could end up wrestling for WWE, AEW or IMPACT). I definitely wouldn’t say that I’m retired or opposed to any of that.

“Obviously, I’m still young, I’m still athletic and I still do all the stuff that I did before. I think if the right moment, right opportunity popped up and talked to the right people and everything lined up, I’d go, alright, cool.

“Why not? But I’m not actively seeking it either. I like everything that’s going on right now, I’m very, very happy with everything that’s going on.

“If something popped up that could add to that happiness, fantastic. But, yeah, I’m open to whatever.”

Breeze went on to explain how his wrestling return came to be, which you can read more about right here.

The former WWE star is set to reunite with Dirty Dango at an upcoming independent event.
