Former Champion Working To Get Cleared For In-Ring Return

On one of her recent Twitch streams, former WWE Divas Champion Paige revealed that she is working to get cleared to return to in-ring action, and is set for another neck examination soon.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided a summary of what Paige had to say, noting that she wanted to follow the likes of Daniel Bryan and Edge in coming out of retirement:

Paige said on her streaming show that she is looking to have another exam on her neck in hopes of being cleared to wrestle again. She’s seen Edge, Christian and Bryan all told that they could never wrestle again, and then all ended up being cleared to return. Sting was also told by WWE doctors he’d never wrestle again and was also cleared this past year. All of them are also much older than she is

It’s important to note that this process can take a long time, and there is no word on when Paige is hoping to be given the all-clear to return to the ring, nor how WWE feels about the matter.
