A former WWE World Tag Team Champion has confirmed that they’re now under a WWE legends contract.
With just over a month until the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on April 18, Triple H, Michelle McCool and Lex Luger are as of now the three names officially confirmed to be inducted.
While not yet officially announced by WWE, Fred Ottman (aka Typhoon), recently confirmed that he and his late tag team partner John Tenta Jr (aka Earthquake) are also set to be inducted into this year’s class.
On the same week he announced that news to the media, Ottman did a virtual signing for Rich Degregorio and revealed that he is in fact also officially under a WWE legends contract.
Ottman said:
“There’s so many people that are making (action) figures outside. You got the Hasbro that’s up toward here. But, there’s so many. There’s a new — two brothers — that Adam Bomb just had a new figure out. I forgot what they’re called because I had talked to them.
“They did call me on the phone about some stuff and everything and you know, I’m under a Legends deal and you know, I’m kind of funny that way.”
Ottman competed for WWE between 1989 and 1994, initially as Tugboat, before later becoming Typhoon and teaming with Earthquake, he would also compete as The Shockmaster in WCW.
