Former Champion Addresses WWE In-Ring Return After Signing Legends Contract WWE

A former champion has addressed a potential WWE in-ring return after signing a legends contract with the company.

On September 6, 2024 former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Jacqueline announced that she had officially signed a legend’s deal with the company.

Speaking to DS of Ring The Belle, the WWE Hall of Famer shared her thoughts on signing a new contract, while teasing future involvement in the company.

Jaqueline said:

“They signed me to a Legends contract, and I’m so happy and so honored. That made me feel really great, that made me feel good.

“So hey, who knows what can happen? You never say never, right? You never say never.”

Jacqueline would then discuss a potential return to the ring in WWE, confirming that she is retired despite never officially announcing that in any way.

While not seeking in-ring opportunities with WWE, she is hoping to appear in video game or in action figure form.

Jacqueline continued:

“I’ve never, like, put on social media, ‘I’m retired, [I’ve had] my last match,’ and all that. I don’t do all that. But, like I said, never say never, because I got a Legends contract, so hopefully they can come out with action figures, put me in a video game or something, make appearances, signings, or something, I’d be happy to do that.”

Despite being retired, Jacqueline wouldn’t shut the door on potentially facing Bianca Belair inside a WWE ring saying “you never know” when asked about the possibility.

Jacqueline last competed in WWE at the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018, with her original six-year run in the company coming to an end in 2004.
