Former champions in AEW made their return on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Atlanta following recent teases.
Last week on AEW Dynamite, a vignette aired hyping the return of former AEW World Tag Team Champions Austin & Colten Gunn after months away.
The Gunns had not appeared on AEW television in three months due to Austin Gunn being out of action with an injury, but the former AEW World Tag Team Champions are now back in the fold.
On tonight’s AEW Dynamite show, new AEW World Tag Team Champions The Hurt Business came out, challenging any hungry tag team to step up and challenge Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
This prompted the return of the Gunns, who said they’ve waited two years to get their rematch for the titles, which is now officially set for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
The segment ended with Austin and Colten embracing their moniker of ‘Ass Boys’ to a big pop from the crowd.
GUNNS UP! The Gunns are coming for the Hurt Syndicate!
