Former IMPACT star ODB may have been blocked from appearing at WWE’s flagship Royal Rumble event, according to ODB herself.
ODB is a four-time TNA Knockouts Champion, and a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
Her most recent in-ring appearance for IMPACT was in March 2021, where she appeared as part of a 12-person tag team match.
Speaking on The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast, ODB discussed other places she would like to work that she has not already, and she revealed that she once had an opportunity to work for WWE by being part of a Royal Rumble, but it didn’t quite pan out the way she had hoped:
“I always wanted to go there. Maybe because you got the Rumble, you know. I did get a call for the Rumble, but it didn’t work out. But that would be cool. I always wanted to drive the food truck into the arena.
“They wanted me, but of course a person (in) upper… someone turned it down. But I did get a couple calls.”
Of course, this past January, then-IMPACT Knockouts Champion and former WWE star Mickie James made a return of her own in the Rumble match.
