The raft of ex-Impact Wrestling stars signing with WWE just keeps on coming, with Indian grappler Amanpreet Singh – who wrestled in Impact as Mahabali Shera – announced today as the latest Performance Center signing.
Shera follows Rockstar Spud (Drake Maverick), Jeremy Borash, Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, EC3, The Hardy Boyz and a host of other ex-TNA/Impact stars now plying their trade in WWE.
The six-year pro was at one point supposed to spearhead Impact’s charge into the Indian market, featuring in a starring role on the group’s 2017 tapings in the country. However, Shera was a victim of Impact’s spending cutbacks and was released from his contract late last year.
