People were speculating during the day about who the mystery team in the Dusty Rhodes Classic could be. The prevailing theory was the mysterious “MSK” team was the new identity of former Impact stars The Rascalz.
Sure enough, this theory was proven correct as Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier made their NXT debuts. The two had new names as Wentz is now known as Nash Carter and Xavier is known as Wes Lee.
MSK made the most of their opportunity in the Dusty Rhodes Classic as they defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Jake Atlas in their first-round match. They will now advance to the second round against an opponent to be determined.
They used moves fans would recognize from their time in Impact as the former Impact duo hit their patented assisted moonsault for a nearfall.
Triple H has talked about being very excited regarding the signing of MSK in the past. It is likely we will see the duo have big things planned for them.
