Former Impact X Division Champion Debuts In NXT As A Manager

During last night’s NXT Live Event in Sanford, Florida, the crowd was gifted a surprise debut from former Impact Westling X-Division Champion Robbie E.

Strangely, however, E appeared in a managerial role, sporting a rather snazzy suit and accompanying Rinku Singh & Saurav Gurjar down to the ring. The latter had a match against fellow newcomer Jonah Rock in which Gurjar won.

Robbie E has collected a ton of goal throughout his almost 20-year-long career in several places all over the world. Mostly, however, he is known for his time in the Impact Zone where he is former X-Division, Television & Tag Team Champion.

It is was reported just over a week ago that E had signed with WWE so this is one of the faster turnarounds we have seen in recent memory. Hopefully, he will be making waves in the ring as well as on the mic soon enough as a man of his talents will be wasted on the sidelines.

In the main event of the evening, Velveteen Dream retained his NXT North American Championship against Matt Riddle. You can check out the full results of the show below:
