A former NXT name is set to make a WWE return.
Since Triple H took over all creative duties for the WWE main roster following Vince McMahon’s retirement, several released talent have been making returns to the company.
As previously mentioned, Road Dogg Brian James has made his return to WWE, taking over Jeff Jarrett’s position as Senior Vice President of Live Events.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that WWE has had interest in bringing back Ryan Katz.
Katz was let go in January 2022 and was an integral creative figure for the NXT brand for almost seven years.
The former NXT name is expected back if he isn’t already, and had remained close to several within the brand. There were some rumors last month that he could already have been back in the fold, but if not, there is interest from WWE.
Katz is currently a host on Road Dogg’s “Oh…You Didn’t Know” podcast.
We will have further updates on Ryan Katz and his status with WWE when they become available.
