NWA has confirmed that former WWE NXT star Samuel Shaw (fka Dexter Lumis) will be in action at the upcoming Alwayz Ready pay-per-view.
An opponent for Shaw wasn’t announced, but it was confirmed that he will be ready to compete come June 11.
NWA announced the appearance on Twitter, noting:
Breaking: We’ve received word that on June 11th, Samuel Shaw will be at #ALWAYZREADY‼️
No word yet on his plans although we’ve been informed he WILL be ready to compete.
But in what match? ?
Shaw has wrestled several matches for NWA in the past, competing during the promotion’s 70th Anniversary Show in 2018, and losing his Tried-N-True Championship to Crazzy Steve at the January 2019 pop-up event.
He signed with WWE in February 2019 before making his NXT TV debut that July.
Shaw was released from his WWE contract on April 29 during a recent round of Performance Center cuts.
Over 20 performers have left WWE this year so far. You can check out the full list of WWE departures in 2022 right here.
