A former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion is set to make his return to IMPACT Wrestling.
As previously reported, former WWE star PJ Black will be making his return to IMPACT Wrestling as part of the X-Division Championship Tournament.
It appears that Black is not the only former WWE competitor who will be returning to the IMPACT ring.
PWInsider reports that Konnor of the former NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension will be returning to the promotion.
Now working under the name of Big Kon, he is expected to be part of the latest version of Violent By Design led by Eric Young.
Kon made appearances for IMPACT Wrestling in January, losing to Josh Alexander and Eddie Edwards in separate bouts.
As previously reported, there is a spoiler on a title change that occurred at this weekend’s IMPACT television tapings.
