Former ROH World Champion and NOAH GHC Champion Takeshi Morishima was arrested on Sunday for assaulting a taxi driver.
The 40 year old allegedly punched a taxi driver in Tokyo over a 18,000 YEN ($160) fare dispute, breaking his cheekbones.
Morishima has accepted the charges, stating: “there is no question that there was an argument.”
Morishima was set to return from retirement this year but his comeback was delayed when he fell ill with sepsis, pushing the return back to spring 2019.
