With Tony Khan relaunching Ring of Honor, the show has a new energy around it coming out of ROH Supercard of Honor.
Several stars of ROH’s past are at the top of the promotion, such as Claudio Castagnoli, Samoa Joe, Mark Briscoe and Dalton Castle.
One former ROH Champion who is not currently a part of the promotion is former ROH Tag Team and Television Champion Kenny King, spoke to Renee Paquette on The Sessions, where he said that he is open to going back to ROH, and would love to face Claudio Castagnoli again.
He said:
“I like what I see over there (in Ring of Honor). I would kill for another chance to face Claudio Castagnoli. He’s always been one of my favorites. I like what they got going on over there.
“You know, and if there’s an opportunity at some point to go over there, then I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to that or any other wrestling opportunities for the next couple of years while you still have me.”
Claudio Castagnoli currently reigns as the ROH World Champion, defending the title against Eddie Kingston at Supercard of Honor.
