Oh it’s the big one. It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for. Natalya has finally confirmed that she will be in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match on Sunday.
While the Men’s match has over 20 names already announced and several other rumoured, the Women’s match now has just 5 announced names. Charlotte Flair, Sarah Logan, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss are the only other people to officially announce their participation.
Interestingly, an image is also making the rounds which suggests that Sasha Banks is also an official entrant, but this doesn’t appear to have been confirmed by WWE.
Of course, it would be a massive surprise if Banks isn’t in the match, and in fact you would think that every available woman on the main roster will make an appearance given how few there are.
It is expected that a lot of the match will be made up of either NXT or NXT UK stars, and in fact the current favourite to win is former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.
There have also been reports that both Nia Jax and Ruby Riott are scheduled to be in Houston this weekend for the Rumble, so we could see both women return in the match after a long time out with various injuries.
