Former World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler made his shock WWE return on Smackdown Live tonight. After Kofi Kingston defeated Sami Zayn, Paul Heyman came out to confront the champ, suggesting that it might not be certain that Brock Lesnar is cashing-in on Seth Rollins.
However, it wasn’t Brock who Kofi needed to look out for. Instead, Dolph Ziggler made his first WWE appearance since the 2019 Royal Rumble match, brutally attacking the WWE Champion.

Ziggler brutally attacked Kingston outside of the ring, putting his head in a chair and slamming it against the announcer’s table. He then repeatedly attacked Kingston while Kofi’s head was stuck in the folded weapon. Kofi was carried off on a stretcher.

Later on in the show, Dolph came back out to explain his actions as he cut a fantastic promo. He put over Kofi’s ability to rise to the occasion and run the gauntlet. He cited Kofi stepping up, but said it should have been him. The promo was emotional and reminded fans of just how good Ziggler is on the mic.
The “Show Off” then confirmed that he will be facing Kofi Kingston at WWE Super ShowDown in just over two weeks. He said that he will not only be earning the WWE Championship, but also the love, respect and admiration of the fans.
