There has been an update on the AEW status of two former WWE stars following their recent big debut in the company.
Following the AEW World Tag Team Championship match at All In, the Young Bucks were confronted by the Grizzled Young Veterans, who then proceeded to lay waste to the Acclaimed and FTR.
Following the big debut at Wembley Stadium, many had assumed that James Drake and Zack Gibson had now officially signed a contract with AEW, but that is seemingly not the case.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the Grizzled Young Veterans working the upcoming AEW shows in the United States is due to the pair now being based in the US, and isn’t a hint one way or another on their contract status.
GYV are set for their first match since their big debut at All In on this Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, when they face off against Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum of the Outrunners.
GYV weren’t the only former WWE stars to debut at All In, with former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet debuting in the Casino Gauntlet match
