Former WWE signing EJ Nduka had his first AEW match since October 2023 on June 26 2024 in Buffalo, New York.
Nduka had been signed to WWE with only two matches under his belt in 2020 on the NXT brand, later being released from the company in May 2021.
He would have a run in MLW before appearing in AEW in January 2023, losing to Konosuke Takeshita on AEW Dark.
2023 would see a small number of AEW Collision dark matches with his last appearance being a win over Jon Cruz in October 2023.
Since then, his only 2024 was for BRCW at March Madhouse 2024 in Boca Raton, Florida.
The June 26 episode of AEW Dynamite has seen a return for Nduka, however, with a victory over Marcus Mathers.
The match wasn’t shown on the show itself, however, being a dark match at the Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite also saw the taping for the upcoming episode of Collision, including the return of Rhio.
Spoilers for the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door go-home episode of Collision can be found here.
