Former WWE Star Discusses Potential On-Screen Reunion With AEW Star WWE/AEW

Former WWE star CJ Perry (Lana) has commented on the possibility of an on-screen reunion with her husband, AEW’s Miro.

Perry and Miro gained popularity in WWE as a double act. Despite the popularity of the Rusev-Lana double act, Miro was let go by WWE in April 2020, and Perry was later released in June 2021.

Since Miro joined AEW in September 2020, he has made references to his wife on TV, teasing a potential reunion.

Speaking with Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc, Perry noted that she’d love to work with Miro on-screen again.

Stating that she hasn’t got her heart set on a single promotion for her and Miro, Perry said:

“Everything’s on the table. I absolutely would love to do something with my husband. I met him working with him. There’s nothing more that I truly miss than being on the road with him and telling stories and entertaining people and making people boo us.

“So yeah, I don’t want to put anything in the box, but I absolutely would love to tell something really compelling and interesting and engaging. And know if it’s in AEW or if it’s in WWE, I don’t put it in a box.”

Perry has yet to return to the ring since leaving WWE. She last wrestled on the May 31 edition of Raw, teaming with Naomi to face Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke.

Miro last wrestled at the September 4 AEW All Out pay-per-view, siding with Darby Allin & Sting to defeat Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black of the House of Black.
