Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet has commented on AEW star Will Ospreay returning to Rev Pro in York Hall.
On Rev Pro’s Summer Sizzle event, MJF defeated Michael Oku to retain the AEW American Championship in the main event.
Post match, MJF gave the Tiger Driver 91 to Oku and attempted the same move on Oku’s girlfriend and manager Amira until Will Ospreay made a surprise appearance to make the save.
This marked Ospreay’s first appearance in Rev Pro since his final independent wrestling match against Oku in February prior to his official arrival in All Elite Wrestling.
Following Ospreay’s return to York Hall, former WWE star Ricochet took to social media to quote tweet the clip of his confrontation with MJF in Rev Pro. Reminiscing on a memorable moment he and Ospreay shared in the same building, Ricochet wrote:
Remember when we double enzguri’d Vader. Then gave him back to back top rope shooting star presses in this building? 🤣
Ricochet left WWE after the expiration of his contract with the company in June. It remains to be seen where he will appear next at the time of this writing.
