Eddy Thorpe has found himself in the WWE NXT Championship picture thanks to a recent “attack” after accusing Oba Femi.
Last week’s WWE NXT saw Thorpe qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge with a victory over Axiom, Cedric Alexander and Lexis King.
Later on the December 3 show, Thorpe would be attacked backstage with the aggressor being unidentified and pulled from the Iron Survivor match as a result.
The identity of Thorpe’s attacker would be revealed on the December 10 episode, moments after the star had signed a championship match contract presented by NXT GM Ava.
In an unexpected twist Thorpe confirmed that he was his own attacker and that he had got the title match without having “to go through twenty-five minutes of hell”.
Former WWE star Dijak has now reacted to Thorpe’s actions in a tweet that can be seen below this news story, stating:
“How many times did I tell you all this man was a piece of s**t?”
Dijak and Thorpe feuded throughout the latter half of 2023, with their final match taking place in December 2023.
Their NXT Underground Match from the December 26 can be seen below this news story in its entirety.
Dijak became a free agent after his WWE contract expired in June 2024 marking the end of a run that started in 2017.
