Former WWE Champion A Member Of RETRIBUTION?

Many eagled-eyed viewers have noted that WWE could be teasing that a former WWE Champion is a member of the new RETRIBUTION faction.

Last night on SmackDown, the group surrounded the ring and ambushed Braun Strowman until the rest of the locker room came out to fend them off.

However, one man was noticeably late to the party, and only came out after they’d already fled, and that man was The Miz.

This isn’t the first time either. A week prior, Miz stayed on commentary at ringside for Big E vs John Morrison, instead of helping the rest of the locker room fight off RETRIBUTION backstage.

Are seeds being planting to suggest that Miz has some kind of involvement with the hooded group, and possibly is the leader and orchestrator of it all?

It’s probably more likely that the company is just playing up his cowardice, but a very obvious point has been made of pointing it out.
