Following the recent re-signings, a new report has revealed former WWE Champion Sheamus has signed a new long-term contract.
As previously reported, former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion Asuka recently signed a new contract with the company.
Meanwhile, Shayna Baszler reportedly signed a multi-year deal with the promotion as well.
This news follows another report that indicated WWE was in the process of re-signing several stars to new contracts.
According to PWInsider, former multi-time WWE World Champion Sheamus is the latest star to sign a new long-term contract with the company.
The report notes that the deal is very close to being done or was just completed. Internally, it’s being looked at as Sheamus will be sticking with the promotion for at least another 3 to 5 years.
“The Celtic Warrior” made his return to WWE following WrestleMania 40 and has been a regularly featured act on Monday Night Raw since then.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Sheamus’ WWE status when they become available.
