Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Reportedly Set For Impact Wrestling Return

Former WWE Superstar TJ Perkins is reportedly set for a return to Impact Wrestling according to the ever-reliable Voices of Wrestling. They also add that he will likely be at the promotion’s next set of TV tapings, which happen to take place tonight.

The winner of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic in 2016 and the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion left Vince McMahon’s company in February 2019, around the same time as Shawn Spears (Tye Dillinger) and KENTA (Hideo Itami).

Perkins teased an appearance at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing show on May 25, but did not appear on the broadcast in any capacity.

TJ Perkins worked for Impact Wrestling when it was called TNA sporadically between 2004-2013, and it appears that he will be making his return to the promotion imminently.

The 34-year-old occasionally wrestled in TNA as Suicide, and Voices of Wrestling have added that it is unlikely that Perkins will return as Suicide having left WWE just four months ago.
