Former WWE Star Set To Face International Star For Another Company

Former WWE star Sidney Akeem, previously known as SCRYPTS, is set to face El Hijo del Vikingo for Game Changer Wrestling.

GCW announced that they will be returning to Hammerstein Ballroom for their “The People Vs. GCW” event on Sunday, January 19.

This show will mark the company’s return to the Hammerstein Ballroom for the first time since their debut in 2022.

On November 28, GCW announced that former WWE star Sidney Akeem will face former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo at The People Vs. GCW. The post reads:

The show will also feature former ECW stars Tajiri and Super Crazy as well as the GCW talent.

GCW isn’t the only company heading to Hammerstein Ballroom as AEW and ROH will run three nights at the building when ROH Final Battle takes place on Friday, December 20, AEW Collision on December 21 and a taping for AEW Dynamite on December 22.
