Former WWE Name Interested In Managing Daughter In AEW

A former WWE name, who was released by the company earlier this year, is interested in managing their daughter in AEW or Ring of Honor.

Back in February 2025, veteran WWE name Paul Ellering was released by the company along with Rezar & Akam of AOP – bringing an end to The Final Testament faction they were in along with Karrion Kross and Scarlett.

Since then Paul Ellering has not featured on another wrestling company’s television, however, with his daughter Rachael Ellering currently signed to AEW, he was recently asked whether he’d be interested in managing her in ROH – the brand she’s most commonly featured.

Speaking on THE HANNIBAL TV Paul said he hadn’t heard of any interest from AEW, he confirmed that he would be interested in working alongside his daughter, who he feels has untapped potential in the company:

“Yeah, yeah, I’d be up to it. It’s always nice to be around your kids.

“And she has so much to offer, interview-wise and personality-wise. That’s where they’re missing the boat. She’s good in the ring but she has tremendous personality, and a great babyface. Really good with people.”

While she made her AEW debut in 2020, Rachael Ellering has been featured on ROH, and occasionally AEW programming since 2022, with a 2024 report confirming that she was under contract with Tony Khan’s company.

Her most recent appearance on AEW/ROH TV came on the July 26 episode of AEW Collision, competing in a six woman tag team match alongside Laynie Luck and Mazzerati against the Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart).
