A new report has revealed that a former WWE name is leaving AEW.
In December 2019, Vickie Guerrero signed with All Elite Wrestling. She soon became aligned with Nyla Rose, acting as the former AEW Women’s World Champion’s manager in July 2020.
Since then, Guerrero has also helped to manage Andrade El Idolo and Marina Shafir. However, it seems like her run with AEW may be coming to an end.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Grapsody’s Righteous Reg has learned that Vickie Guerrero is set to finish up her run with the company.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has followed up and learned that Guerrero and All Elite Wrestling have specifically agreed to not renew her AEW contract, which is set to expire in July 2023.
Vickie has been heavily involved on AEW Heels, which is the fan community for women who love wrestling set up by the promotion.
Guerrero has also helped contribute to a number of AEW’s digital projects. She was also the special guest on AEW Unrestricted podcast just last week.
We will have further updates and news in regards to Vickie Guerrero’s status when they become available.
