While speaking to VICE, former WWE composer Jim Johnston said that it is “bizarre” that he has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He then questioned what you even have to do to get inducted:
“If I said no it would be because of getting fired not because of stage fright. From my perspective, it’s one of those kind of weird things where you’re of very differing conflicting views on something. On a practical level getting outside myself, it is bizarre that I haven’t been asked. I have to ask what do you have to accomplish to get in?”
Jim Johnston created many of the most memorable WWE entrance themes in history, including that of Vince McMahon. He also opened up about what it was like to create the chairman’s iconic theme song.
A lot of fans feel as if the quality and standard of WWE entrance music has dramatically declined since Jim Johnston was rather unceremoniously fired from the company back in 2017 after over 30-years of service to WWE.
What are your thoughts on the above story and whether Jim Johnston should be in the WWE Hall of Fame? Let us know in the comments on Twitter or Facebook.
