It was announced back at Bound For Glory last month that the IMPACT Knockout’s Tag Team Championships would be returning after being retired in 2013. At Turning Point, the brackets for the title tournament were revealed.
Along with some rather interesting matches, it was also announced that we’d be seeing some female talent make their IMPACT debuts as part of the tournament, including two people who formerly worked for WWE.
During last night’s Turning Point event, IMPACT revealed the following bracket for the tournament, with a few of the names listed not having worked for IMPACT Wrestling before hand in any capacity.
The tournament will see Killer Kelly and Renee Michelle tag together in what will be the pair’s IMPACT debuts. Both have done work with WWE in the past, with Kelly being released from her deal earlier this year.
The other debutants who will be wrestling for IMPACT for the first time as part of the tournament are Sea Stars (Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo). This will arguably be the biggest stage the pair have wrestled on at this stage of their careers.
Jordynne Grace is going to be part of the tournament, but her tag team partner has not been confirmed at the time of writing. Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for updates on that.
If you missed IMPACT Turning Point, which featured several title changes and even a surprise debut that not many people would have sene coming, you can catch up with the happenings by clicking here.
