A former WWE name has claimed that Nia Jax ‘hates’ him and ‘led the charge’ to getting him replaced on WWE commentary by Renee Paquette.
Speaking on his Behind the Turnbuckle show, Jonathan Coachman told a story about his return to WWE in 2018 and his eventual replacement on commentary by Renee Paquette.
Coachman said:
“She (Nia) hates me by the way. Hates me. Years ago – and this shows how crazy it was at the time – when I left ESPN and I came back (to WWE), I told Vince, I’ve got four golf events that I already have on my schedule I didn’t want to miss.
“In my first 10 years in the WWE I missed one Monday night. So now I come back 10 years later, tell Vince I’m missing four events in that calendar year – how do you think that went over? He said, ‘No problem, Coach, we got you’. Well he had me until the second missed event and then he was like, ‘This is some bulls**t’. Then I was like, ‘But I told you’.
“So then they started filling in, and I remember they put Renee in my spot. Nobody liked the fact they brought me back, whatever the reason. I’m not gonna use the ‘jealous’ word, it is what it is.
“But Nia Jax led the charge. ‘Renee, Renee, Renee in Coach’s spot’. She didn’t like me for whatever reason. I had no issues with Renee, I think Renee’s terrific.”

Nia Jax is the current WWE Women’s Champion with today (December 2) marking her 120th day of her title reign.
Jax was on the losing team along with Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton at Survivor Series ‘WarGames’ with a moment during the match where Stratton appeared to be poised to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
With both Morgan and Jax down, it wasn’t clear in the moment which champion Stratton would be looking to cash in on, adding to the continued intrigue between her and Jax.
