Former WWE Names Appear At NJPW STRONG Rivals Taping (SPOILERS)

Ahead of the taping, White Jay White called out talent from ‘any promotion’, continuing his ‘US of Jay’ open challenge. In the main event of the taping, Shane Strickland/Swerve The Realest (formerly WWE’s Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott) made a surprise appearance, accepting White’s challenge.

This was Swerve’s first match following his WWE release in November 2021.

Other former WWE names who made unannounced appearances during the taping included Shane Haste (fka Shane Thorne) Mascara Dorada (fka Gran Metalik).
