On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, a former Raw star made their return to the brand after several months away.
Mercedes Martinez had been called up to the main roster as part of RETRIBUTION with the name RETALIATION, but now she’s back on NXT TV.
Reports at the time were that Martinez had asked to be removed from the group and that’s why she was moved back to the developmental brand.
This was the first time she’s been on NXT TV since losing a cage match to Rhea Ripley on September 8.
She returned by attacking Women’s Champion Io Shirai. Shirai was in the ring waiting for Toni Storm but instead Martinez attacked her from behind.
