WWE/AEW
A former WWE star noted that he would love an opportunity in AEW as he believes that he and his tag team partner can offer something unique.
After not appearing on major television wrestling since their WWE departures, the former Maximum Male Models – now MxM (Mason Madden and Mansoor) – seemingly have ideas for TV.
On the Inside MxM Twitch stream with Madden & Mansoor, the pair had Dijak on to chat as the latter approaches free agency.
When someone in the chat donated money to ask the trio a question about what pitch they would make right now for AEW, Madden shared some thoughts.
Saying that he believes AEW has “excellent talent who have excellent matches”, he would pitch for them to lean more into having “tremendous character”, in the vein of ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm.
He explained that he feels MxM could absolutely fill the role of compelling characters both in the ring and in pre-taped segments.
He said:
“I would love to be able to try and do something like that in AEW if given the creative freedom and the opportunity.”
Fightful reported earlier that Madden and Mansoor have been in talks with AEW/ROH recently.
Elsewhere in the Twitch stream, the trio discussed a variety of topics including Dijak sharing a moment where he believed WWE management was “looking for a reason to not like” him.
